One man sees the links of a chain
His sin, his bondage clearly viewed.
Unable is he to look past the pain,
Again in Christ does he refuse to be renewed.
His comrade, on the other end,
Looks to the beauty of the day.
With focused eyes his soul may mend,
For peacefully in Christ shall he stay.
